We will be holding a rock climbing event this Friday, Nov. 19th at Cliffhanger climbing gym, Vancouver. Event starts at 1800 until 2000. For everyone who wants to come, we will be selling tickets in the Cube office (ICICS X139) for $10 (cash only). This is an awesome deal as we’re subsidizing some of the cost. Also, there are only 20 tickets available so get yours now!

Be aware that you will need to fill out a waiver. For anyone under 19, we will also need your parent or guardian’s signature on the consent form. No waiver, no climbing, period.
The Cube will be holding our Annual General Meeting next week on Wednesday, Nov. 17 in DMP 101 from 1730 to 1900. We strongly encourage you to show up to learn more about what the Cube has planned for the rest of the academic year and to have your say in the running of things.
The Cube is throwing a LAN party next Thursday. Bring your own laptops, and join your peers for a round or two (or more) of any game of your choice, including Starcraft 2, Counter Strike, Unreal Tournament, DotA and more! If you can’t bring your own laptop, you can still join us at the Cube for some XBOX 360 pwnage!
Join your fellow Cubers for a fun afternoon of ice skating at the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Winter Sports Centre. Admission is free as we will be going during free skating time, and the Arena knows we’ll be coming. Feel free to drop by and skate, whether you can make it for the whole time, or just a few minutes.
If you don’t have skates, UBC Thunderbird Arena rents skates out at $3.50. Their sizes range from child 8 to adult 13.
Please email if you plan to attend, and whether you need skate rentals, so we can get an idea of numbers.
