Our CEO has experience in the sustainability sector and has the business skills to execute, but lacks the technical knowledge to build the platform and to lead the technology development. As the CTO, you will be responsible for leading the technology development, including developing the backend of the web site, maintaining the code, updating the web site according to customer feedback, developing new features, fixing bugs, maintaining backups, working on scalability and other suitable development tasks. Initially you will also be responsible for maintenance and technical customer support. Strong backend development skills are a priority. We are looking for a candidate that loves to write code, but if you also have an eye for design and user experience—all the better. As we grow, the position may have you managing a team, but for now, it’s all hands on deck!
