Work Your BSc: Résumé Rounds for Science Students

Come to this session to get personal feedback on your résumé and make sure it is employer-ready. You will learn about current résumé styles and strategies and also have the opportunity for a personal résumé review. Small groups of students will meet with a résumé expert and get 10 minutes of personal feedback as well as the opportunity to learn from their peers—picking up tips, tricks, and techniques along the way. Please bring a print copy of your résumé.

Thunderbird Robotics


Are you interested in robotics, computer vision, artificial intelligence, web design, or IT? Do you want to learn new skills, put the things you learn in class into practice, or compete internationally? If so, UBC Thunderbird Robotics is for you!

Thunderbird Robotics is a group of student teams who build robots from scratch for competitive and learning purposes. Thunderbird Robotics is composed of multiple teams, including the soccer playing robots of Thunderbots, the NASA Competition Digger of TREAD, and the autonomous vehicles of Snowfury.

To get involved, show up to s Saturday work party at the ICICS highbay. The highbay entrance is the large loading dock door on the north side of the building across from McLeod. Show up anytime between 10am and 2pm on any Saturday and bang on the door. Someone will let you in.

Research in Motion Info Session
