Lunch & Learn: Information Management

Interested in learning about Enterprise Risk and Control Assurance? Tuesday, Oct 10th, at 1pm to 2:30pm (Room HA 309), representatives from Deloitte’s Enterprise Risk Services will be on-hand to discuss such topics as information organization, privacy, records management, Sarbanes-Oxley and the application of controls to address compliance issues. Pizza and refreshments will be available.

There will be a Microsoft Info Session this Friday. Come out and check it out, free Pizza and pop will be provided as well as lots of prize giveaways!

Presenters include:

• Jono Luk (Program Manager in MS Office)
• Steve Herbert (Software Design Engineer in Test for SQL Databases),
• Stephanie Cheung (Program Manager on Vista), Terry Chen (Software Design
• Engineer in Biz Talk server and tools) and Jimmy Wong (Software Design engineer
• in Test for Small Business Applications)

In addition there will be a slew of UBC students there who interned at Microsoft this past summer who will stay after the presentation to help answer questions people may have about msft and/or the internship program.
